Northern Ireland - Co. Antrim - Dunluce Castle

In 1639, following a storm, part of the castle kitchen fell into the sea due to the cliff eroding. The disaster must have happened suddenly and without warning, because seven of the kitchen staff were plunged to their deaths as well.

Suite à une tempête en 1639, une partie de la cuisine du château s’effondra dans la mer à cause de l'érosion des falaises qui supportent le château. L'accident fut si soudain que sept personnes qui travaillaient dans la cuisine à ce moment là y trouvaient la mort.
