The building on the tip of Carrigan head is one of the many signal towers built around the coast of Ireland during the Napoleonic wars.

Le bâtiment dressé sur le sommet de la pointe de Carrigan est l'une des nombreuses tours de vigie construites sur les côtes irlandaises au 17ème siècle lors des guerres napoléoniennes.
