Ireland - Co. Donegal - Glengesh Pass

Lough Finn (Irish: Loch Finne) is a freshwater lake in County Donegal near Glenties Town. The lough, along with its neighbouring village of Fintown, was named after a mythological woman, Finngeal, who drowned in the lake after attempting to save her wounded brother Feargamhain. A dismantled raillway follows the lake on the north side.

Lough Finn (en irlandais : "Loch Finne") est un lac d'eau douce, dans le comté de Donegal près de la ville de Glenties. Le lac, avec son village voisin de Fintown, tient son nom de celui d'une femme - Finngeal - qui selon la légande, se serait noyée dans le lac après avoir tenté de sauver son frère blessé Feargamhain. Une ancienne voie ferrée suit le lac sur la rive nord.
