The lighthouse - At Rinawros point, was first built in 1798. Donegal's first lighthouse, it was rebuilt in 1865 and was manned by keepers until fully automated in 1976. 

Le phare de l'île est situé sur la pointe Rinrawros. Bâti en 1798 - il était alors le premier phare du Donegal - il fut reconstruit en 1865. Son fonctionement fut assuré par deux gardiens jusqu'en 1976 date de son automatisation.
