The picturesque harbour in Carnlough has for many years been the village’s main focal point. Originally built by a local landowner, Phil Gibbons and extended by the Marchioness of Londonderry, it was eventually acquired by Larne Borough Council in 1981 The harbour has undergone extensive refurbishment since that time.

Le petit port de Carnlough a été de nombreuses années le point central du village. Construit à l'origine par un propriétaire foncier local, Phil Gibbons, il fut ensuite agrandi par la marquise de Londonderry. Il a finalement été acquis par le comté de Larne Borough en 1981. Depuis, le port a subi d'importantes rénovations.
