This small cottage, or "bothy", is the base for the island's salmon fishery, established in 1624, and remaining active today throughout the short summer salmon season.

Cette petite maison est le local des pêcheurs de saumon installé sur l'île de Carrick depuis 1624. Ce local n'est plus utilisé aujourd'hui que pendant la courte saison de pêche du saumon.
